Several weird days of attendance threw us off for a bit, but we managed to make it all happen during this raid week. Another Old God has fallen at our feet. Nice work, everyone!

A weekend off was just what we needed to come back at Mimiron and finish him off. All that’s left is Yogg-Saron and then comes the push to face off with Algalon.

Yeah, yeah…we know. Grats on post-nerf/buff kills.

Picking up on the momentum from our runs earlier in the week, we came back into heroic Ulduar to see what we could do on Monday night before the raid reset. Add Kologarn, Auriaya and Hodir to our kill list.

As anyone on Illidan can tell you, all of us had a few setbacks with our server that kept our 25-man raiding from getting off to a solid start. We did what we could with our normal 25-man raiding days getting several bosses down this week, and set off to work on the Ulduar 10 on our “off nights.”

With Yogg-Saron down in the 10-man instance, we can come back to our 25-man raid tomorrow and apply what we’ve learned. Nice work, everyone! We’re looking forward to clearing the 25-man instance.

Ulduar and Patch Day 1 made for another rocky albeit expected start for the Illidan server. The following day after the dust settled we started accomplishing what we could during the lag, restarts and hotfixes that ensued. What you won’t see in the list of kill pics is Emalon the Storm Watcher, the new Wintergrasp boss, as we snuck a kill in right as the Alliance lost control of the zone and the instance booted us out while we’re handing out loot. (We’ll post an official pic next week.)

…but the picture says it all. Congrats to those who set out to put an hour and a half into this and make it a reality. Pulsafied now has to make a conscious choice between his Black Drake and Chopper every time he moves about Northrend.

In our continued drive to not just beat an encounter, we strive to beat the most difficult version of each encounter. Earlier tonight, it was Sartharion + 3 Drakes, which not only yielded us a shiny new title, but the [Reins of the Twilight Drake] as a bonus prize. Congrats, Xry, on Resurrection’s first twilight drake mount.

Coming back from the holidays, our server behaved wonderfully these past couple of nights, so much so that even the Thaddius fight posed no lag problems for us. This allowed for a very fast clear of all content up to the Eye of Eternity. Only a couple of attempts combined with a lag-free instance proved a recipe for a successful Malygos kill. All that’s left for us is to finish up the achievements for each of these instances until Ulduar is made available.

Resurrection is looking for seasoned players to raid 10-man content. We run several groups for each 10-man instance weekly casually revolving around our 25-man raid schedule. The potential exists to be included in or promoted to our 25-man raid content as group makeup allows for it. We also have an opening for 25-man raids:

• 10-man raid instances: All classes open.
• 25-man raid instances: Resto shaman opening. All other classes closed.
